Hi! My name is Sara Radle, and I'm a director, photographer, musician, and actor from San Antonio, Texas. My creative journey started out in my teenage years, fronting the Texas punk-pop trio Lucy Loves Schroeder. I later released a string of solo records (still writing my next one!) and joined The Rentals when ex-Weezer bassist Matt Sharp asked me to relocate to Los Angeles, CA to re-form the band.
In 2013, I decided to explore some of my other creative passions - acting and directing. I was lucky enough to have some success in the commercial acting scene in Los Angeles and was soon able to fund the equipment for her my production studio - Good Kitty Studios. I directed a string of music videos, including "Weird Boy Next Door" by legendary Los Angeles punk rock band The Muffs, as well as the short film, "First Shift Back". One of my lifelong dreams came true in 2017 when I directed my first feature film, "Eleven Hundred to Lubbock".
The pandemic brought me back to San Antonio in 2020, when I decided to really work on my photography skills, as it had mostly been a hobby until that point. I quickly found myself getting hired to take photos, and I loved it! (Still do!) In 2022, I decided to bring GKS's services to the public, as up until that point I was mostly creating my own projects for myself. And what do you know? We've really hit the ground running! I'm so lucky to have already been able to work with so many businesses and individuals - many of them now repeat clients. I love being able to work with clients to help their vision come to life, and I enjoy the challenge of approaching each project in a new, fresh way that authentically represents them.
GKS now has a team that operates out of San Antonio, Austin, and Boston, and we are always on board to travel to new cities for shoots. If you'd like to work together, drop me a line on our contact page. I'd love to hear from you!
